"Oh dear! The dreadful wolf...Oh what should I ever do?!"
Carol had stepped into a place she dreaded and heard about all these years! Now she was in deep trouble for entering the woods. "Oh dear." Carol hadn't ever wandered into that territory before and Randolph was out hunting. She was out looking for edible roots and had stumbled into the forest.

Savage, an unmistakable, nice wolf that didn't even relate to her name, savage. However, her ruthless mate is the one that resembles her name. Mistakingly, the humans from the far off villages called her 'Savage', for the numerous of deaths that were caused by her pack. They, however, where mistaking to her sweet personality. Her real name towards her pack is, Dove.
The cloud-white wolf scampered through the thicket of the forest, she commonly traveled around. This time she was alone, without her beloved mate. He was out, most likely terrorizing a town, or commonly hunting. He was an interesting animal she fell in love with. Mates for life.
Her snout caught the woman's scent. Not even bothered as it was common. She tracked to the human. Their kind foolishly travles to places they're not suppsoe to.

Carol ventured further into the woods, trying to find her way back out. She stopped when she heard a noise and stopped to listen. Oh not a wolf. Please don't let it be the one who terrorized humans. She looked around for a place to hide. Randolph had to go hunt and leave her behind.
She looked behind her, feeling slightly watched. She wished Randolph was here.

Savage's glistening crown emerged before her noggin appeared. HEr body continued to rise over the fallen log. Placing her large paws on the peak of the collapsed log, peering over to where the frightened female was stationed. The wolf could easily sense her fear and noted it on her face.
Savage was positioned behind Carol, observing her, curiously. A woman, alone? Venturing out to the wicked woods? She couldn't be that vapid, could she? The wolf shook off the thought for a moment.
Her head slowly shifted to the side. Should Savage speak? Or watch Carol? She couldn't decide at this point.

Carol didn't see the wolf and she shouted for Randolph. Maybe he would hear. Then she remembered she was in the wolf's territory. That meant she would put herself into greater danger. She was holding her breath, but she sensed someone or something behind her. She slowly turned around and saw a wolf.
Carol looked around, trying to find something to climb, but the trees weren't climbable. There had to be something else to do. This wolf would probably alert others. Then she'd be dragged someplace. Did they eat them or was that a rumor?
Now she needed to wait for Randolph to return from hunting. She'd need to stall the wolf.

The human girl seemed to become more frightened, once she spotted the white wolf that monitoring her. Savage remained watching her a few moments, appearing neutral, as if this wolf wasn't intending to hurt her. Her paws lightly shifted on the log.
Finally the white wolf decided to speak, hoping the girl would mellow down. Savage was very aware her pack was out for a hunt, not even close to where Carol was located. Carefully, she leaped off the log, landing, then slowly walked over.
"No need to fear, human." She stated, shifting her nose close to her, retrieving a deeper scent on Carol. She stepped a meters back. "I won't hurt you, and my pack is far from here."

Carol didn't know what to think. If she bolted, she would surely give chase. But the wolf wasn't snarling or anything that would show that she was going to attack her. Nor howl for her pack members. Slowly, she drew in a breath.
"You won't?" She asked. "That's great that you won't. What about your pack? Would they hurt me?"

Savage grimaced, lowering her head, peering the other direction. That was another story, but it's true, her pack would strike anything that was on their territory, especially wandering people. Why do they even venture in these parts, knowing what lurks in these ruthless forests? It wasn't just wolves.
She rose her head, licking her muzzle for a moment. "Yes, they would. But at this time, they are way off into another part of the woods, hunting." She finally answered the lost girl, whispering very lowly. "I'm not sure how I can help. Is there someone with you?"
She didn't like the idea that these humans traveled alone, because some would attack and flee. Without her pack, she's an easy target for most.

"There is a dragon named Randolph. I think he's hunting something for himself. He said that I could forage for roots." She shrugged. "I think you can help me find the way out of the forest."

Savage noticed the human girl hadn't answered her question. She left it alone for now, but will strongly come back to it. She sighed, listening onto a dragon. Dragons were enemies towards the large wolves and were more frightening to take down.
"I can help you with your special roots, and such. I'm a good natural scavenger, and plus we use herbs and other resources." She informed, nodding her head, with a warm smile on her muzzle. "But, you never ansered my question. Are you traveling alone?"

That creature, that's all Carol had to inform who 'Randolph' was, and that caused the white wolf to become uneasy. Why was a girl venturing around with a dragon, and why wasn't she with the massive beast. They were known to be the best protectors across the lands.
She shook her entire pelt from head to tail. "Ah, well where would he be present?" She anxiously asked, despising the beautiful creatures. She tried to conceal her true feelings to CArol.

"I do know he's flying around hunting for deer in another portion of the woods. But he left me alone to forage in the woods for truffles. I know that they grow good here. Randolph said that many dragons are very cruel. But he's the most kindest dragon I've ever met."

Dragon? Seriously out of all the creatures is close, is a dragon?! She winced, shaking her head. "Are you sure there's a dragon nearby?" She rose her head, shaking it a few times. "You sure this one is nice? I'm sure this creature can easily fool you." She mentioned.
She walked off the log, coming closer to the small woman. "Hmm, where is this dragon anyway?" She circled her.

She listened for the wings of Randolph and shook her head. "Not really nearby because I don't hear him." Carol answered, not really sure if Randolph was really nice and she was easily fooled. What if he wasn't nice? What if it had been an awful lie the dragons told?
Then she backed away from the wolf, noticing she was being circled- like a prey item.

Savage tilts her head, parting her eyes exceedingly wide. "You have to be joking, right? I mean there's numerous of dragon species who soar through the air with no sound at all. Similar to an owl. I'm not sure if your friend is." She curiously peers up at the sky.
No dragon. What a relief. She peered over to Carol. "Uh, well, you may go. My kind and dragons do not get along at all," she states, standing up. "My pack is going to be out for days."

"Randolph is friendly enough. He's the only dragon I trust." Carol looks up into the sky as well to see if Randolph was there or not. Seeing no dragon, she gave a loud sigh. "Sometimes, I begin to think he's ditched me."
"Oh. I guess you have some other things to do then." Carol said. "It's nice meeting you."

Savage bore her teeth, growling, swaying her fluffy tail. "Just because you trust them, doesn't mean they will shift to their dangerous, furious inner self," she settles her snarling. She scoffed, smirking pleasurable, "Ha! There's my point."
Her head lowers, shifting it side to side. "Don't be foolish, child. Open your sights around this.."
Her voice was severed by an immediate, violent gnarl from behind. "Dove! (Savage) who is this trespasser?!" A rose, great wolf rose from behind. "Have you forgotten the laws?!" The cold, wicked barks extended.
Savage lowers her head, grimacing.

The cold, wicked barks extended. Savage lowers her head, grimacing. Carol shifted foot to foot, thinking about what the wolf was saying. Randolph was like every other dragon. There was no stopping them once they were violent. She was showing a little nervousness because of the facts. "So, that would make me like a 'pet' or 'slave' to them?" Randolph wouldn't, would he? She wasn't sure. The wolves were much wiser. Supposedly, supposed to be helpful with men. "I guess I am a little foolish." Carol finally admitted...She opened her mouth to speak when a new voice cut into their conversation. The back of her hairs rose on her neck, an impending sense of doom, something bad would happen. Slowly, Carol began to turn around slowly. She glimpsed a different wolf, much colder than Savage. (Dove) Carol foolishly didn't know what to do. She knew that if she showed any fear, she'd be gone. "Hi. I'm Carol. Nice to meet you. I think I should take my leave." She eased to the right. "It's nice to see two forest denizens." She was nervous and not really interested in becoming a wolf's meal.
